Too Cute!! Austin Cattle welcomes another new family to our program.

Mady and Shelby Parker (a/k/a TWO CHICKS WITH STICKS) braved the icy roads and the 20 degree temps to come pick out a steer yesterday. We look forward to a long and prosperous show carreer with these girls. Good luck to the Parker family in the upcoming coming show season!

We had a text book clubcalf transaction. Becca and her family came to pick up their Ft Worth steer ( They brought a check and a trailer) and they spent he time to outline a feeding program for the next 90 days, supplements to be used, scheduled their first hoof trimming/ project visit and got a start weight on her new steer. Thanks to the committe members of Tarant Co junior livestock show for inviting me to sort their cattle. I had a great time doing it, they had a total of 35 classes of heifers and and a Sr. showmanship of 24 exhibitors and we capped the night off with adult showmanship competing for a pot of $5 bills and that was definetely entertaining with a group of willing and competitive adults, some who had never been in a showring. Great Times!!

Lots of sunshine today here in Fort Worth, I will get some new fall born pics today and tommorrow, stay tuned...... :)
